HELLO! Thank you for your interest in adopting from Critter Ridge Rescue.

We have a simple adoption process. First, fill out the adoption application. This helps us check to see if any pets you currently have are updated on all Veterinarian recommended vaccinations. Also, if you rent your home, we do require landlord checks. Second, wait to hear back from us on your adoption application. It can take 1-3 business days to hear back from us. We are working hard on getting back to you in a timely manner. Third, once we have contacted you, we will set up a time to meet with you and introduce you to the animals you have applied for. Fourth, if this meeting goes well, we will move forward with the adoption process, and you will take your new four-legged family member to their new forever home. 

NOTE: Our adoption fee is $200 for Dogs. This covers all medical cost while in our care, and their spay/neuter. All puppies are given their age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Rabies Vaccines) and are spayed/neutered at 6 months old. All adult dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Rabies Vaccines) and are heartworm tested and on preventative medications. 

Adoption fee for Cats/kittens is $150 . This covers all medical cost while in our care, and their spay/neuter. All kittens are given age-appropriate vaccinations and are spayed/neutered at 6 months old. A

After adoptions we have a contract to get the pet's records transferred to your name.
